Bre Payton, an author for the conservative news website The Federalist and a frequent guest on the Fox News Channel and alternative media shops, died suddenly at the age of twenty-six.
The Federalist and an exponent, Morgan Murtaugh, confirmed Payton's death in San Diego.
Murtaugh tweeted that she found her friend unconscious on Thursday morning and doctors determined Payton had H1N1 grippe — conjointly called swine influenza — and infectious disease.
In recent appearances on Fox News, Payton had condemned what she referred to as "fake news" media coverage of President Donald Trump and "sexist and bigoted" coverage of 1st lady Melania Trump.
A necrology within the Federalist known as Payton "joyful, hard-working, and compassionate." It aforementioned she had a deep Christian religion.

Payton was survived by her parents, Saint George and Cindy; siblings James, Jack, Christina and Cheekie; and swain Ryan Colby, in line with The Federalist.

The CaringBridge.org Post had this to say, "Bre brightened the lives of everyone around her," it commented. "She was joyful, hard-working, and compassionate, and she leaves behind friends and colleagues for whom she brought nothing but sweetness and light."
Payton was discovered "unresponsive and barely breathing" Thursday, according to a CaringBridge page tweeted by The Federalist's publisher, Ben Domenech.
